I wanted to give everyone an update on the mother cat that had her litter under a deck in Holden. The woman wanted the cats gone, so she let her dog under the deck after them so that they would realize they "weren't as safe as they thought they were." Needless to say, I wanted to get them out of there! I trapped the mother and the one kitten she had left.

The best part is that she is very friendly! She is so gorgeous as well- long hair Russian blue color. I call her Blue. Her kitten is called Spike because he is all white with one stripe of blue down his forehead. He is timid, but I am able to pick him up and pat him, so I am confident he will turn around with some TLC. Both cats have been fixed, had their shots and were snap tested. I will foster them and try to find homes for them. I would like to place them together, if possible. They can't be in a house with dogs, after their terrifying experience.
