Thanks to everyone for a wonderful Pet Rock Festival in 2007. Proceeds were distributed by the end of December to ALDF, Animal Shelter in Sterling, Commonwealth Cats, The Worcester Animal Rescue League, Humane Society: Youth, NEADS, Foster Parrots and EchoDog. Please visit our message board, let us know what you think, share stories and news throughout the year. Check out this year's Cat Photo Contest Winners chosen by the Pet Barn The French Bulldog Rescue Network and For the Love of Dog each won 500 in the annual Pet Rock Festival Lottery This year's Adoptable Pet Parade (judged by Hill's) winners were Ahimsa Haven and New Beginnings, tying for first place. Each received $500 from Pet Rock Fest Congrats to all the winners in the Dog Contest, as well as WXLO's Cutest Pet Contest. Please do submit your photos and comments to our message board! (special note: winners of the owner-dog look-alike contest and waggiest tail contests - you both dropped your medals on the field. I have them. Sponsored by: Oldies 103.3, Worcester Magazine and EJ Candies, this expo features hundreds of tables, including breed rescues, shelters, animal welfare organizations and more. This family-friendly day includes an adoptable dog parade, contests, rabie clinic and low-cost microchipping (certificates provided) by VCA, live music, a doggie water park, a cat photo contest, speakers, vendors, shows and food. It's a wonderful day for you and your leashed pet.
