  • 1 p.m.The Adoptable Pet Parade.  $1,000 prize awarded to the winner, courtesy of the Pet Rock Fest, judged by representatives from PetSmart.   
  • 1:30-2 p.m. The New England Disc Dog Group Performs
  • 2 p.m. The Dog Contest sponsored by Bil-Jac Foods and Mountain Dog Products
  • 2 p.m. Best Ears
  • 2:15 p.m. Owner-Dog Look Alike
  • 2:30 p.m. Waggiest Tail
  • 2:45 p.m. Best Vocalist
  • 3 p.m. Sweetest Face

Prize packagess donated by Bil Jac Foods: First and second place receive medium size bags of food from Bil-Jac, all third place winners receive a bag of liver treats. Medals and awards presented to winners, as well. Mountain Dog Products also presents leashes to all winners.

2:30 and 4:15 p.m. Performances by ARFF Flyball Club

3:15-3:45 p.m. The New England Disc Dog Group performs

3:45 Appearance and booksigning by trainer Bill Berloni and "Bruiser," who stars in Legally Blonde the Musical 

4 p.m. Drawing for the two lottery winners (each receiving $500 from Pet Rock)

AT THE INFORMATION/RAFFLE TENT

Cat Photo Contest sponsored by the Pet Barn, ribbons and winners posted at the start of the festival, as this year, the contest is pre-judged by representatives from the Pet Barn. Please leave your cat photos up for all to see through the end of the event. If you cannot wait until the end, we will mail the photo back to you. Winners receive gifts from the Pet Barn, as well as photos posted on the Web site and Pet Barn locations!  Enter the contest by printing out a form here, or visiting The Pet Barn. First place winners receive $25 gift card plus a prize, second place winners receive a $15 plus a prize, and third place receives a $10 gift card plus a prize. Kind Kids Tent, which includes face painting, crafts and games. This area will also feature various children's inflatable rides, as well as Clifford The Big Red Dog, and chances to win copies of the Deluxe Anniversary Version of Clifford the Big Red Dog

The Vegetarian Food Court is back, hosted by the Boston Vegetarian Society. This food court, which is in addition to our standard vendors that serve fried dough, fries, pizza and wraps (coordinated by Uxbridge First Holiday Night), includes Latin foods by Norma's Catering, Indian food by Cafe of India and Asian cuisine by the Buddha Hut. Food vendors available throughout the day in the “music area.” This year, as with years past and forever more, don’t look for meat at this festival. Think about it, folks. We’re loving animals today.

Live music and announcements take place throughout the day on the "Music Stage.

"The Doggie Water Park - Cool your pooch in our pools and sprinklers, as well as let them have a drink. Sponsored by Hitchcock Pool Water of Charlton.

The Kind Kids tent features various children's activities led by Donna Vayo, including face painting and crafts - located near the Doggie Water Park. Also, Clifford the Big Red Dog hangs at his "doghouse." Kids have a chance to win Clifford books, donated by Scholastic Books, and enjoy two inflatable rides.

Ask-the-vet table, free rabies clinic and low-cost microchipping sponsored by VCA. This rabies clinic is limited to two pets per family. Also, cats must be in carriers and all must pay admission to the event to take part in the clinic.

Crested Guardians Chinese Crested Rescue offers AKC Canine Good Citizen tests at its booth.  

Dawn Tweedy does airbrush tattoos, including pet related art. 50% of all her proceeds benefit the Pet Rock Festival Visit www.artisticairbrushing.com
