Weymouth Dog Healing After Being Tossed from Car by Teens Print
Authorities still do not know what made a group of teens toss a 10-pound fox terrier from a moving car on King Avenue in Weymouth on April 10.

Weymouth animal control officer David Curtin explains that often a parent will ask a youth to bring an animal to the humane society, and instead, the youth will just "release it."

The animal is being cared for by Lauren LeGrand while attempts are being made to contact the pet's guardian.

LeGrand's sister in law witnessed the act of cruelty while driving behind the teens.

People should always report acts of cruelty to the MSPCA at 800-628-5808.
